The new year. 1 Jan

Took a train. (My next train ride is gonna be 365 days later, just hated taking trains!) Met up with Esther and Alvin.

To justify our non-driving outing, we had to drink beer. Worse when we saw Suntec has 1007 empty lots!!

The waitress gave us this:: Packed with fun-filled items! Just look at me::So we created our own pre-party mood::Came 11.30pm, we just have to take a walk to see the fireworks. So visited the washroom first. Couldn't resist the phototaking::First (decent) photo of the year~!!::And I was all hyped up (tying two ponytails trying to look 2 year younger, hope it did worked)::And then it was back to Paulaner again. HAHA! Sat till late until they have to change our glasses to those plastic ones, because they were closing. Ha! How different the wine tasted!::Took a cab at 5ish and slept at 6am, and woke at 12pm.

Mom cooked lunch. So the mother and daughter had lunchie at home together. The next 6hrs was spent nuah-ing in front of my laptop cum TV.

Came evening, had a mini Family dinner at Lotus Garden. $22/pax buffet style. Prawns to start my year. Woot!!

Went back home to catch 9pm drama and as if dinner wasn't full enough, had Ah Pek to bring me for...... BEN & JERRY'S @ Safari (as usual). Actually, it was he himself who was hungry, cheyy. Kept complaining he giddy because of hunger. And made me wonder why would someone starve himself on the first day of new year. HAHA! Siao Ding Dong.

It was a strange sequence supper. We had the ice cream as dessert FIRST then went Hong Kong Cafe at Yishun for the main course.

Zero damage for me for the day.

Well-spent first day of the year! Yeah!

So now, parents left for Malacca, and I just got back home from sending them to Golden Mile. Time to nuah till house party at Yanling's tonight :)
