It was a whole awesome 5hours. From the journey to the Singapore Esplande and back from the Esplande! A.W.E.S.O.M.E. is the only word to describe!!
Well.. I went to... The Singapore Esplande for.....

Yesh!! To watch the BeautyWorld Musical by Wild Rice Production!
A little bit on myself and musicals.
Oh well... Since young, I always have this something for Musicals and Plays and even Concerts (Instrumental and/or Idolislitc). But strange thing is, none of my boyfriends, I repeat, NONE, actually willing to spend such marnies to watch or they totally have nothing for Musicals. So I havent watched a Musical formally.
Till I thought I found one who might be interested, I eventually sponsored the tickets! But, yeah, he sort of 'played me out'. Enough said.
Okway, I, as usual, horlan-ed in Esplanade and so, I called for help. LOL. Found my way in and for a second, I thought I actually bought a $500 seat. Haha! Ask me WHY to know why!
The play is damn good. I didnt know the guy whom I drooled at the entire show is none other than Darren Tan, that superstar. HE is sooooooooooooooooo cute! Especially when he "arm-chio" (trying not the laughing when he is actually smiling to himself), he looked freaking adorable!!! Dimples played a part. He cant sing well but gosh!! I just need to look at his biceps and triceps and 6 pacs, ENOUGH LOR! Yeah, I looked like some Darren-Tan-stalker among the audiences because everytime he appeared, I started smiling and drooling..
=x He is so captivating..
The lead actress (starred Ivy) is p.o.w.e.r.! In real life, she was born in Singapore but actually migrated to Australia for over 10years and also starred in numerous big musicals! Hence, her performance in BeautyWorld is two thumbs up. She has the no-Singaporeans-would-have vocals. Looked short and doesnt have the model look nor figure, but her performance on stage is fetching and alluring!
The rest are VERY good too! Their performances are soooo magical. They are so into their own roles. Each and every movements they make, wonderful. Their dances are soooooo sychronised too! The band who produces the music, YUMMY!
But then... during the interval, I was just 5metres from the backstage (dont ask me why whole theatre I'm the only one ended there) and was with the crew. Not the actors of course, I wished. I meant the backstage crew. Heard the backstage horror scenes. LOL. Something people dont get to know. The anxieties, the anxiousness, the apprehension, the worries, etc. The tension behind the scenes. How the light bulb burst, how the string pulley didnt work too well, how hard was the drawing of the curtains, etc. LOL. It's like hearing their complaints but... GREAT! Exclusively only for my ears!
I so want to watch again!!! I love Musicals and Plays!!!
Little Eve was skipping around in Big Eve's Heart throughout!
Overall, two thumbs two toes up!
They done a great job!
Though my money may not be spent the way I wanted, but... spent WORTHWHILE on the whole!
(This punishment is acceptable. Haha)
Only regret? Never take a picture with Darren Tan!!! *wails*
Coming up next...... SHARKWATER. A documentary movie screening soon... Donate $50 to save the sharks. Watch out!
