A group photo @ the Club before we set off @ near 9 am::
Us on the Laser2::
Here comes the 8.5hrs sailing journey to the Sisters' Island!::Reached Mana Mana for lunch at 1pm.... We were all soooo hungry!::
Mr Sailor and his crew- Me @ East Coast Park Beach::
Kayi's got the poky things on her pants! Ouch man!::We continued sailing off at 2pm after our quicky lunch. Both the sailors rigging up the boats. Thankfully the weather was perfect. No sun.::To think we even sailed past MBS and the Singapore Flyer...... A different angle of the view::At 4.36pm, we finally spotted the Small Sisters' Island (on the right)! So near yet so far! Due to strong whirlpool currents, we took pretty much time to actually land on the right spot of the island!::Sean started dismantling this boat while the other 2 ladies searched for the appropriate place to pitch our tents::And of course, Fred too, dismantling his boat after a treacherous fight with the currents. *phew*::The tricky part is, how to keep clean::My one tiny bag of personal belongings::And all the other barangs barangs::Myself at Sisters' Island!, finally......!::
We even have a beach table there! Just right next to our pitched tents! So here goes, all barangs barangs onto it!::
The Bunsen burner for cooking our dinner and breakfast for the next day::So we set off. Sean's boat::Fred, being totally drained out, did let out a smile when he unrigged his boat. :)And so, here I am................ We made it! A dream come true for me, NIGHT SAILINGOh, and the LOST MUFFINS. hahaha! We left them there before we set off, and when we were back, they are still there! OOPS!::It was really an experience!
Thank You Sean, Kayi, Corine, and of course, the one to kick off the idea, Fred.
We were approached by MPA, Naval Base Guards and Coast Guards. None of it is good outcome, I think I nearly threw my bootie and hit them, really.
The most memorable one - The Navy asked "Can you stop moving?" and I, without hesitation shouted back "Eh Hallo! We are not moving already! Can't you tell its the strong currents?" I have to say they appeared to be dumb, they couldn't tell our boat was shaking so badly and it's due to the strong currents and wind?? omg.
Another one was the MPA where we were stopped by them at night in the total darkness in the open sea at about 9pm+. They keep reckoning us to go close to their boat. We tried and circled 4 times till I lost it. I shouted them to come out from their cockpit and just tell us what do they want from us. Sorry, they were too arrogant and that was when, I nearly hit them with my smelly booties.
Overall, we travelled 109km and I thought that was really an experience! Even the camping at Sisters' Island was fun. :)
Oh ya, HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!
