So. This is it?

So. This is it?

Went watch "The Age of Stupid" last Thursday at NTUC Centre with WL.

The Documentary shows the effects of global warming. So bad, by the year 2055, we would more or less be dead on Earth.

And the causes are not by natural disaster, so to say. They are man-made causes. By us driving, increasingly releasing carbon dioxide, by us slaughtering animals for food (not only those near extinction), by us wasting resources such as wood for paper. So much so much more.

One day, we will never ever be able to ski. One day we will never ever be able to eat chicken. One day we will never ever have petrol for our cars. One day we will never ever be able to survive.

One day, we will have to eat humans for self survival. One day, people give briths for the only reason of survival, to eat the child.

Isn't it scary? Isn't it what we have never wish to?

But! Global warming is not a cycle that only happens yesterday. It happened years back. We are not doing anything.

'The age of stupid' basically means, when we look back in year 2040 or so, we will realise how stupid we are, not trying hard to protect the world, the Earth, in fact, the place where we are going to survive.

Demand is everywhere, hence, supply goes up for everything. And when supply goes up, government and industries took the opportunity to gain more money out of us. And when that happens, conservation is shrugged aside.

We fight for oil. Oil is used in almost all products we see in the world today. From television sets to medication to paper to cosmetic.

The rich gets richer, the poor gets poorer.

We react to short term threats, so means the above long term threats we are not mindful? When a dog chases you, you run, that is short term threat and you reacted. But how about global warming?

Think about it. So this is it?

So. This is it?

I have tried. For many a times to try to ask you out. Most of the time, you were the one to break off the conversation, leaving no conclusion.

If trying so much isn't enough, there, it demoralised me and wouldn't dare to try anymore.

So this is it? No more?
