Why conquer a rock wall? I dunno.

a.

Since Singapore is such a small city, there ain't much to do, I must admit. But I should have expected Babe will slowly ask me for activities since she started with Safra recently.

True enough. Casually told me she is going for Rock Climbing lessons. Of course, being the sporty wannabe, I wanted to join. Haha. But I tried before years ago, but without certification though.

Proudly, on last Sunday early morning, I arrived Safra Yishun without getting lost and was even on time! Strange enough, we were among the first few to arrive. *scratch head* Before lunch was just some theory session. And lunch wasn't satisfying enough, but still felt too full to climb. But, no matter what, we had to climb!

Criteria to pass Sports Climbing Level 1:

1. Equipment
2. Climbing signals
3. Knots
4. Belayer

The instructor said, "Can't climb well, nevermind, but must LOOK GOOD". Hence, climbing literally itself is not one of the criteria to pass! Haha. Ironic.

So here I am, at the starting point, again, after several tries::
My attentive and very encouraging belayer::..... and I went up::And so I wonder why the unglam posture.... Apparently I forgot to "LOOK GOOD"::After the climb, not having anything to do except to take shots of Babe and her boyfriend, so I took myself while taking a rest, from the sorching SUN::Babe and her boyfriend's turn::See that?? Up so fast so high. Babe had a hard time down there::Two monkey-liked big kids loving the Boulders Gym::I fell, from the overhang, so just nice to capture a shot of me and my best friend::Myself at the overhang, still loving tbe Boulders Gym::Yup, still at it::Going off already still must die-die hang somewhere! HAHA::And so, after a gruelling 6 hours, I am certified Level 1 Sports Climber! ::And then we have TWO complimentary tries within 6months from now. Great! I am looking forward to climb those artificial rocks again and conquer my 'fear' of getting down from a height!! Ohh, and I actually love the Boulders Gym the most!
