Bali (Leisure) Dive Trip 14-20 Sept 2007

However, I will only blog when I got more time.
Tiring to recall stuff. Heh ^^
Spent a great deal of time to do up the (many hundreds) photos already.

Oh dear..........!!
I VERY lethargic and sleepy... Didnt have a good sleep last night.
Blame myself for not packing last night then worry till cannot sleep.

Woke at freaking 5am+ but didnt get out of bed till 7am+...
Only started the REAL packing at 7.50am and finished at 8.05am this morning.

Was sooo tired till I fell in the bus with my heavy gear!!
Must have been a sight!!
So embarrassed.
People must be thinking, "Cannot carry so heavy then dont show off as if you can"...
*wails*

Now I turn to my right, see my gear beside my work station, I feeeeel so sian!!!
So lazy to carry them to Bali lor.

I should have packed last night!
I should have slept more.

2.5hrs more before I leave office as a princess. *kekeke, if you know what I meant*
Alright, heading back to work like a bee!

Guys, I be back on 21st!!!!

.... Despite of the many many conflicts happened within my Bali group, I'm still READY to go!
And I think when Earthquake strikes, each of us will be helping one another.

After all the shiet, we are all on a foreign island with only one another to turn to, TOGETHER. Together we are to stay united, dive and play, and back Together.

All the quarrels are too insignificant compared to lives lost to natural disasters.
No one is ever interested in details for Jetstar, we only wish to know the update of members.
No one is actually blaming the others for the conflicts we had either.
No one is solely in the wrong for rooming allocation disagreements too.
Whatever it is, tomorrow is the D-day already.

E: I want anti-fog, you all got spray kind?
S: Huh, now got people use spray still? Dont have leh.
E: No leh, I want, and I've been using.
S: Dont think we have.
(S looks at J)
S: We have anti fog spray anot?
(J looks at E)
J: How much you want?
E: Huh?
J: Our shop is instant one, (do the digusting spitting sound)
E: Wahlao...
J: What? You just need bring container.
E: I'm serious leh!
J: I also serious!
E: No, I'm MORE serious...
(S kept laughing...)
J: Use Johnsons shampoo la...
E: I no like the smell.... Booo..
J: Ok, tell me what is your current shampoo.
E: I dont want use shampoo!!
J: Then what body foam?
(E wants to faint liaoz..)
I see J always so aloof then now he cracks joke, I feel so weird. LOL

(on phone..)
E: So you want 3mm or 5mm?
R: Which one looks nicer?
E: Underwater all look same-UGLY
R: Ya but which one?
E: Ok la, 3mm cover abit neck only, 5mm whole neck.
R: Huh? Not until the ears only?
E: EH!! HALLO! NOT SWIMMING CAP LEH!
(J action bang wall, S laughs)
E: You think only cover ur hair? For fiak??
R: *laughs* oh.. Then which part not covered?
E: Obviously your eyes and mouth?!!

(E now looks for hood..)
J: Wahlao, why your friend so vain like you one?!
E: Because we still want to look good underwater. Hood makes us ugly.
J: Wahlao, then buy 3mm la, nicer. I didnt say 5mm very ugly hor!
(because on the phone i was saying, the seller say 5mm very ugly, lol)
J: You dont spoil my shop's things image say I sell ugly things.
E: okok, its "not so nice", hor?
(S laughs loudly again)
J: Its only a hood la, 5mm also not say very thick.
E: Ya but 3mm easier to sell
J: WHere got ple sell hood??
E: US lor..
(S opened big eyes)

And then, I was continued to be poked poked poked so I left... LOL.
Went had yummy sliced fish bee hoon for dinner.

Now stressed with packing.. Sian.
Initially got a way, but dont know why suddenly realised like not very willing hor? So I find a way myself. I already said I cant leave earlier why wanna say until like "want my help also dont wanna cooperate".. Hmm... Fine lor. I also didnt say anyone need to rush EXCEPT for me what.

URGH.

*scratch head* STRESSED.

It's a holiholiday, why ruined it even before going right? Heh ^^

Now must concentrate in getting my legs to recover. My legs pain till really got trouble squating, bending, climbing stairs, sit crossed legged, etc..
HOW?!!

Somehow, I dislike when people just log off like that.

Stressed. I looked into my financial ability, realised I'm so broke again.
What the......

Friday was the day I had enough of Bali planning. I finally stepped up and decide to arrange things out of what-i-need-to-do as only a member of the group. I started to clear the misunderstandings and do room allocation. I think its best left to those involved than to the organisers who care least bit of what the members want. I took lead.

Within an hour, room allocation was finally settled. But I was being accused of using this rearrangement as a convenient EXCUSE for something else, I couldnt believe what I heard. Doesnt the room allocation annoys EVERYONE except the organisers? Would I, because of my own perference?? I didnt even take a vote in this! Now, I appear to be the bad woman? Do I have to sleep in hammock outside then it shall please everyone? Why cant people be honest on their own preferences??

I guess as the days draw nearer, I just want it to be over and done. Whoever has any opinions (assumptions) I shall not bother. It never pays to be the problem-solver.

Anyway, I also went to see the rest off to Tioman at Newton! Heh^^ And after that, its mooncakes tasting at Takashimaya! LOL. Obviously not my idea but we had alot of fun!!!! Hehe!!!

Saturday was Sher's wedding. From morning till night revolved around the wedding. Oh, and Marc came all the way to Shangrila Hotel to meet me (by cab!!)! How sweeeeeet and his effort was really appreciated! I guess the photos I will receive soon? Now I have Korean relatives!

Now, just came back from badminton at JurongWest SC. Great to meet up with the rest. I will be back there again! For more sports!! Met Julia too.. Hehe..

So, polo tees down two left two! Job completing soon. Heh ^^

Anyway, SgScuba Polo Tee, one down, three to go! Yesterday met up with one to pass him his Tee, he still say can tell I'm so excited about my new shades. LOL. *obvious meh? tsk*

Itch ITCH and I said, I.T.C.H.!

Sigh. Now I walked around, take buses like an alien to people. My legs seemed as if gotten some disease. Then I applied medication then my legs looked worse.

With people staring at my legs in the bus, I cannot concentrate reading my book!!

But, the doctor very handsome!!
Doc: Ok, so whats the matter?
Me: Erm, I'm just here to get anti-itch cream?
Doc: *looks at my legs* *shocked face* Oh!
Me: Ya?
Doc: How did you get these??
Me: From some marine life?
Doc: Oh, swimming?
Me: Diving.
Doc. I see.. When you got these patches?
Me: Yesterday lor...
Doc: Oh~ Where you dive leh?
Me: Erm.. Sisters island.
Doc: You scratch on the corals ar?
Me: Nope, I TOUCHED it only,
Doc: *rolling eyes* yaya, some u touch it also like that.

Then it made me wonder, is he diver too?? He looked so tanned.

Okway, gotta slap on more medication and reach home then consume med.. Early morning so drowsy want able to work! Heh ^^

Sisters Island Dive

Bright wonderful morning. But because my dad woke me late, the morning was rushy rushy.

Headed for breakfast at West Coast with my family and daddio drove me to West Coast Pier.

Damn, I only had 4hrs of sleep.

Lacked of blood somemore, sucked by the mozzies last night.

Both dives were done at Sisters Island. So cool that we need ICs to get though the "custom".. Keke..

Abit "disappointed" and shocked to see our dive boat at the Pier looks like this..

Took few seconds to calm myself down before taking a shot of the guys transferring the tanks to the boat.

The trip to Sister Island from West Coast Pier was about an hour. A long rocky ride, with occasional water splashed onto us.

All, before dive, are hyped, as usual::

First dive was relatively better than the second. Even though I only see nudis. Visibility is definitely better than Hantu Island.

I... erm.... Horlan-ed!! I was listening to one of my buddy's shaker then suddenly dont know why I didnt follow.. The moment I decided to follow, I lost my buddies.

So I spotted blue fins and a little of torchlight shining, I chiong!! Wrong buddy. *blush* But oh well, just follow lor. I didnt even know who the TWO guys I followed till on the surface! Shel and Jason la. Shel very nice, still keep alerting me of Nudis when he spotted them and also flashes his lights at me when he thinks I felt lost.. LOL.

Even though Shel did say, he blur how come he got one more buddy suddenly following him, then he thought to himself, msut be HORLAN. ZZzzz.......

Cant blame me, I wanna take photos mah!

And then it was lunch time on the boat. Nic shared his with us all, bread with mayo egg!!

After the makan and rest and gao gao layer of sunblock, all ready for second dive..

Second dive wasnt good. Worse visibility and I just didnt like it lor... And it was raining..

Then on the way back, I slept..The rockings made me felt so seasick-ed. Plus the cold weather I presumed, just made me felt worse.

This is when... I cant remember, but BAD scratches!!! I only realised it when I was shopping earlier on and felt my leg abit painful, I looked down and its, omg... Now then I noticed?!

Then there is another one, when I was taking the i-dont-know-what-is-it-called, then suddenly right thigh got stung by some ferns! I shot up 1m immediately. Nearly knocking onto Shel whois above me, he signalled me slowed down, I signalled back "ok" but he didnt know it's because I was stung lor!
Sibeh cham.

Another most minor one is on left leg. Abit bleeding only. Heh ^^

Fruitful dive nevertheless :)

Just came home not too long ago. Dont know why my show was shortened to end at 1230am instead of the usual 0130.. Sigh.

I just came back from Blading @ Clementi wor!!

Sometimes I think people see me as wonderwoman, but in reality, I'm usually not...

Monday, brother gave me this::Lovely bear bear where he bought frm Korea's Teddy Bear Museum.

Tuesday was my Birthday!! Now own up, how many reading my blog has forgotten?!!
Anyway, I was soooo busy at work I even have to head to bank run errands in the rain in the morning. What surprised me when I get back to my desk was this....Lovely flowers from you-guess-who. They smelled soooooo fresh that made me meltish.

Number 1::Number 2::Pampered myself with Facial (like last year) on my birthday! I was like a princess? So nice of YF to fetch me (but he rushed me till I bought the wrong nail polish) from Facial to my favourite Frog Porridge!!! Didnt have that for like donkey decades..

Wednesday I think I headed home? Was soooooo tired.

Thursday I was in Newton from 9-5pm attending a Seminar @ Sheraton Hotel.Mr. Adam Khoo was the specially invited guest. Great speaker!

Hotel view was nice!! Now I finally know where the artises filmed their show!! Cos this image looks familar on television!

Was told to do some hands-on. This company is sooo innovative they always come up with fanciful packagings... Tempted me the idea of stepping into the digital world industry like printing.

Then headed to Bugis Junction. Because of me, one by one flocked down, even if that means they have to sacrifice their running sessions.. Oops.

This laptop was supposed to save me from the agony of extremely slow smsing.. But in the end, TWO laptops, 3 big hunks, lost the battle. My phone went home the way it was when it left the house...

Erm... TODAY, 20mins ago, I proudly announce.. I managed to download the latest version software into my current N80 and now it works like totally brand new!!!! NEW!!!! New features!! But......................... I forgot about Fred's words, "backups babe"... So I lost some contacts... Haiya.. But very excited i can send sms very fast now!!! YESH! Finally.
